Fles met barcode 5425029 493476, 80 EBU en een wat ander etiket dus niet 100% zeker of dat een identieke batch is. Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet met veel peated whiskey, wat rook en alcohol. Voor mij iets te veel whiskey.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Slightly peeted. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Barrel aged on the brewery's own distilled Belgian Owl whisky barrels.
Black with a thin beige head. Chocolate and coffee aroma with some whisky notes. Sweet taste with a sweet boozy whisky finish.

Smell-weak to medium, malt, weak whiskey notes, weak roast. Foam- thin bit to medium, malt, weak roast, some alcohol. Head is medium-sized head, medium-dark brown color. Appearance- generic bottle cap, simple but nice label.Very dark brown, basically black color, few carbonation bubbles. From - stout glass Price - 3,99 euros Taste- malty, weak roast, faint sweetness, and bitterness bit more roast and coffee remains taste. Some alcohol in the mix. Not awful, but had better.

Dark body. Off-white creamy head - quickly disappearing. Strong malty aroma. Moderately sweet - moderately bitter. Nicely balanced.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes fo whiskey, smoke, chocolate, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with ntoes of roasted malt, whiskey, alcohol, roasted malt, and coffee, leading to a bitter finish.

Black colour, brown foam. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, cocoa with a nice whisky finish. Good BA stout.

Fles gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur whisky achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, koffie en chocolade achtig met tonen van rood fruit.

Bottle from Geers. Pours hazy black with a quickly dissipating, frothy, beige head. Aroma of whisky, dark toffee, red apple, prune, date, liquorice, chocolate praliné, molasses, aniseed, black pepper. Taste has sweet red apple, date & prune, a bit estery but soon mixing with a (dark) chocolate & (dark) fudge malty body, accentuated by bitter spicy liquorice & aniseed, toast, earth & something slightly umami. Herbal & peppery hoppy finish, more spicy liquorice, dark chocolate & tobacco, rather boozy whisky alcohol in the end. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Typical Nest: interesting, but still 'Belgian', bit crude as well, yet I can't help but enjoy their brews. Could do with some more cellaring, perhaps...
