Nothing is stronger associated with the US west coast than surfing. And so Foam Climb is inspired by surfers, as depicted in the 1991 cult film “Point Break”. Starring young Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze, it is a story about surfers, robbery, self-knowledge and the achievement of internal balance. You know nothing. In fact, you know less than nothing. Find your personal Zen, merge with the wave, and then surrender to its power. While taming it at the same time. Get in sync, and then charge.

On tap @Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto (Helsinki). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note agrumate e di resina, mango, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è bilanciata abbastanza bene, con base di malto media e chiusura amara corretta. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Discreta.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured hazy golden color, thich white head. Grassy and light fruity aroma,. Flavor is full on bitterness, resin, grass and citrus. Long bitter finish. Lovely flavor and crisp. Mouthdrying.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20191126) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tangerine, grass, pine, lightly herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A tasty and clean hoppy brew.

Can. Thanks A&S! Golden body, clear, white head. Caramel, just a weak touch of butter, and herbal, wormwood-like hoppiness in the aroma. Oxidation apparent. Creamy taste, tropical, medium bitterness, ending dry, but still somewhat gone. Sadly, shows that it isn't fresh.

Notater fra en overmåte hyggelig RBHD-kveld hos Bryne, okt-19: 0,33 boks fra Brynes importkoffert. Lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Saftig og innbydende aroma og smak med lekker fruktighet og høy ff (forfriskningsfaktor). Lime, appelsinmarmelade, Fox citronkarameller, apriokoser og urtebitterhed.

Shared can at RB/HD at Kjetil’s 25.10.19. Cloudy straw colour. White head and lacing. Solid aroma and taste of lime zest, lemon zest, sorrel and mint.Grapefruit bitterness is lingering on.
