As you can suspect by its name, the 'stoutish-edition' is a beer of the stout style. It's brewed with 5 different kinds of malt and oat flakes.
Roasted malts give the dark warm colour and coffee and dark chocolate flavours. We use three kinds of hop. The hops give the stout-ish its typical soft bitterness and fruity aroma's that work well with the flavours from the roasted malt.

33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark moderate roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, cookies. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, cookies, caramel, chocolate. Quite nice!

Pours cloudy black with a lasting, small, frothy, tan head. The aroma contains roasted malt, dark fruits, fruity hops, hint of dark chocolate, caramel, coffee roast, sweet tobacco. It tastes light chocolatey sweet and light to medium roasted bitter with more coffee and malty tones; dry, toasty, bit hoppy finish. Medium body, slick, somewhat thin, texture, soft to fizzy carbonation. Very drinkable Stout, though a bit underwhelming.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a nice balance of roasted bitter malts with some coffee. Also a fresh hop bitterness. Very full flavoured and easy to drink.

Zwart bier met mooie bruine schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van mokka, bittere chocolade en karamel. Mooie smaak balans met niet al te veel rooksmaak.

Shared from bottle at Maakun’s. Dark brown with fluffy offwhite head. Dark roasted malts, licorice, charcoal. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bottle shared. Very dark brown with big beige head. Some licorice, pecans, light plastic, ash, charcoal, dried herbs. Light sweet and medium roasted bitter. Just medium bodied. Strong roast but in an interesting way, not a favorite but quite a decent beer.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 29/11/2018. Brune foncée, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez malté, finement grillé avec une belle pointe de chocolaté, rétro houblonné, finement fruité agrumes - chops? Palais est malté, chocolaté avec une pointe de grillé, touche réglisse en fin de bouche et un apport fin de fumé et petite note de café. Houblon - finement résineux ajoute un effet d’amertume qui complète bien le caractère malté de la bière.

Bottle from Geers. Black colour, brown foam. Nose of coffee, roasted malts, some tropical fruit (hoppiness). Bitter, roasty, full of taste. Very nice, easy drinkable. Nice stout!
