Can at home, 02/05/21. Black with a good sized tan covering. Nose is light charr, mellow roast, chocolate, dusty hops, toffee. Taste comprises roasted bite, chocolate, molasses, brown sugars, charr, dried fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough stout ... perhaps a touch on the sweet side for my liking.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the Experiment. Pours deep brown with a foamy, beige head. Interesting stuff, moderately sweet, with some grapefruit, ashy roast, tobacco, scorched earth, oranges, toasted pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with with more notes of chocolate, ashy roast, more citrus and pine. Novel.

It's not an Export Stout but a Black IPA Hoppy US Porter hybrid. Excellent water profile. Super soft malts. Dry and clean and resinous. Benchmark Mosaic. Just the right roast but not ott. Raw cacao. Excellent.
