Flasche (33 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Orangegelb, schön trüb. - In der Nase nicht allzu kräftiger aber sehr aromatischer Hopfen, der an ein Pale Ale erinnert. - Im Antrunk dagegen eher mild gehopft: ein wenig Grapefruit, etwas Gras. Milde, zart karamellige Malzsüße; angenehm reintönig gerstiger (untergäriger) Charakter. Mild rezent. Im Abgang etwas schwache, leicht harzige Bittere. - Schönes Lager, durch milde Pale-Ale-ähnliche Hopfung aufgepeppt, dabei nur wenig hopfenbitter.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, no head. Dusty, yeasty aroma, DMS, buttery , Dry yeasty notes, bad spice. Medium light body. Spicy, licorice notes, Some fresh hops, otherwise very muddy.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is buttery and grapefruity, some liquorice. Taste is the same. Boring and too buttery.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colourwith average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally sweet-ish, biscuity, grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma with zesty tangerine overtones. Taste is husky, pale malty, a protein touch, fairly bitter, slightly grassy hoppy overtones with a zesty tangerine touch. Wouldn’t have thought Berlin was in need of another one like this.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, lychee and tangerine, backed by a mildly malty touch and a whiff of yeasty spice. Mildly bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty base with delicately grainy notes, but present fruity and slightly spicy hops; dry and mildly hop bitter finish with fruity and delicately herbal accents. Good one. 15.I.16

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange golden colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of mild hops, yeast and grain. Taste of mild bitter hops, zest, citrus, grain, good stuff!
