This smooth English Pub Ale is not too hoppy and not too sweet, it’s just right. A solid backbone of nine different malts are matched perfectly with a hint of smooth hops and rich flavors.

(Kiev 2016) 355 ml. bottle sampled. BBF 21.03.17. Label states “not too hoppy”. Pours clear amber with a tanned head. Nose is mellow toffee, bread, sugar, bit too bland. Taste is bland bread, toffee, neutral, bit watery, uninteresting sugar, old leaves, watery herbs, bland. Not very hoppy indeed, this one almost feel like an IPA minus the hops with maybe a pinch of more malt not a very good idea, bland at best, meh, almost a bit akin to an old IPA. Bland, partially quaffable.
