Fat på Brewskival 2016. Smak och doft av choklad, rostad malt, mörkt bröd och kaffe. Vattnig, lagom sötma, lena i smaken.

Fat på Brewskival 2016. En trevlig och välgjord ganska klassisk engelsk porter. Rostade smaker av mörkt bröd, , choklad och kaffe. Ganska torr. Trevlig.

On tap. Dark brown. Aroma: yeast, caramel, roasted malt, coffee and a little soap. Taste: caramel, bread, coffee, a bit of chocolate, roasted malt, a little sulfur from yeast.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft at Lisopylka. Dark brown wih a small tanned head. Nose is very sweet & very artificial chocolate, artificial chocolate flavored chewing gum. Taste is extremely sweet very artificial chocolate, chocolate flavored chewing gum, very chemical,…. Artificial chemical body. Nope, the chocolate is painfully unenjoyable an artificial, mild flashback of Floris Chocolat (this one is a tad better).

At a tasting, many thanks, smallish bubbly head, a little opaque brown color, aroma of toasted bread, some chocolate and a woody hint, cakey malty flavor with a hint of chocolate in the back, some vanila and essence, feels just a little diluted. Quite nice and very enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark brown. Aroma of chocolate, toast, roast, nuts, caramel. Sweetish flavor with chocolate, roast, nuts, and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas and flavours of a typical dry Porter. Nice enough.

Appearance: Dark brown colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Chocolate, roasted malt, caramel.
