Golden pour with a red tint, decent white head. Aromas of grain, some toast, toffee/caramel, similar for the taste. It was ok, but the taste was a bit weak for a Festbier.

Wässriger, wenig würziger Antrunk. Leichte Karamellnoten, geringfügig röstig. Weiter wässrig, zum Ende hin endlich aromatischer. Nettes, süßlich würziges Ende. 9/8/9/8//8

On draught at the brewpub: Amber coloured, firm, creamy head, visible carbonation, sweet, honeyish-malty nose with a huge "green" touch and a metallic tinge; fizzy MF, light bodied, moderate sweetish-bitter flavour; short, malty-sweetish finish with a harsh (yeasty?) aftertaste. The qualities of a Märzen are detectable, but spoiled by the distinctive "green" taste; not worth a visit...
