Hachenburger Fest-Bier, Flasche vom Craft Beer Store Steffenberg. - Goldbraun, blank. (5.1.2020.)

50cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grassy and gently spicy hops, mild caramelized malt. Taste of spicy bitter hops, some grassy hops, caramel, moderate strong malty finish.

01-09-20 // 500ml botle from Rewe katzenelnbogen. Really enjoyed this one. Clear copper golden. White head. Malty sweet nose. Body of caramel and toffee sweet malts perfectly balanced by a hop bitterness and some noble hop aromas. Smooth. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hachenburger Fest-Bier on 01 Sep 2020 at 22:11 - Score: 7. Original review text: Really enjoyed this one. Clear copper golden. White head. Dunkel herber Antrunk mit milden hopfigen Beinoten. Eher schwacher Mittelteil, mild herb, spritzig. Eher schwaches Festbier. 12/9/9/8/9/8

5l mini keg. Very nice, clear dark copper colour with huge, thick, frothy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, barely white head. Cautious caramel malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones, a strawy and papery touch. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, grassy hoppy overtones, a papery touch, cautious grainy, bready undertones. Quite drinkable, a bit anaemic for a 5.5% Märzen.
