Clear brown colour, moderate sized and quickly disappearing beige-ish head; aroma and taste of syrup, some coffee and maybe chocolate, roasted bread and hints of raisins; unbalancedly sweet, otherwise ok

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Clear, dark red with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, dark chocolate, grains and some red fruits. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, dark chocolate, red fruits and some grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Summer Gathering 2016. Dark red brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, slightly sweet, lightly iron, lightly earthy, nicely bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation.

Thx! you for sharing Martinus. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Dark red amber, little head. Nose is dull hugely metallic, sugar, stale. Taste is dull very watery, metallic, caramel, sugar, bland. Overly watery & metallic. Unfortunately this one wasn’t actually brewed in Greenland. This might be as close as I will get. Quite poor beer.

3/IX/16 - 50cl bottle @ RBBSG V (Klaas' place) - BB: 30/VI/17 (2016-982) Thanks to Tinus for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, some ripe banana. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very very malty, bit sweet, some caramel, sugary. Aftertaste: more malts, sweet, bit metallic, soft bitterness.

50cl bottle @RBBSG2016. Klare orange braune Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch nach rotem malz, nussig, Karamell, leicht metallisch. Geschmack nach rotem malz, karamellig, metallisch, getreidig.

Bottle received from Saxo in a small trade. Poured chestnut brown with an off white head. Aroma of mild chocolate, nut and malt. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Finish is sweet and nutty. But too carbonated but that aside quite decent.

Bottle@yesper - brown coloured pour with tiny white head. Aroma and taste is light malty, caramel, bready, slight herbal hoppy notes, watery, bit basic.

Bottle 500ml. [ As 69°N Isfjord Dark Lager ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugary, brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, sugary, sweet malt. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141227]
