Can that somehow wound up at the Nova Runda Brewery's fest, so thanks to whoever related to NR went to Angola! Shared with Hrabren. Pretty clear golden body, off-white head. Sweetish corny aroma, somehow boozy without the alcohol, like fermented honey. Light taste, severely diluted sub-par mead taste - fermented honey, grainy, green apple, vague herbal notes. I'd probably drink it in Angola if I had to, but yeah, not good.

0.33 l can shared with Marko, thanks. Clear pale golden, small white head. Tart fruity sugary aroma, corn, cardboard. Light body, moderate carbonation, bland grainy, sweet, abrupt finish. Forgettable.

Beers of the World country 143: Angola 🇦🇴
"The beer is light golden in colour with a foamy white top to it. Not a lot of smell to it, but there is some sweetness in the smell. The taste is also on the sweet side with some malty bitterness. It is somewhat thin and watery with very little aftertaste. A step back compared to some of the other African lagers I’ve had recently." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Bottle @ Musea da Cerveja, Lisbon while being eyed up as potential targets by the myriad pickpockets in the square. Pours clear gold, large frothy pure white head. Aroma is lightly sweet pale malt. Taste is clean, lightly sweet, no off-favours, decent malt body, well-rounded, no cardboard. Actually not awful at all. But yeah, Angola tick.
