Primus the most known beer on Rwandan market, playing in the lower mainstream segment. For the past 60 years, Primus has maintained a strong reputation for its quality and appealing taste. Appearance: Pale yellow golden, clear. Small fizzy white head.
Aroma: Light malt and corn.
Taste: Watery, homoeopathic amounts of malt, corn and hops.

Yellow colored, weak white head. Aroma of malt, grain, metal and cardboard. Taste is sweet malt, grains, some adjuncts, no bitterness, metallic finish. Thin, watery body.

Bottle sample: Clear, bubbly pale gold with a small white head. Malty, watery, grain aroma and flavor. Slightly sweet. Grass and straw notes. Plain, but nothing offensive. fairly decent.

Bottle courtesy of Travlr - shared with shrubber85. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear gold with a moderate white head. Sweet grainy malt flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle (courtesy of Travlr and I am assuming Nathan - huge thanks as I don’t think I’ll be able to get to Rwanda in the next couple months). Sour barley malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon, barley malt, and grass flavor. Actually quite impressive given the origin.

Bottled 720ml. -Yellow coloured, big white head, light acidic corny nose. Malty, light bready and pretty sweet taste with minimal hops presence. Short finish. Drinkable but weak.

33 cl bottle muled by Nathan the Former Star Intern, thanks! Clear pale golden yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of cardboard and straw. Taste is minimally bitter. Easier to drink than water.
