A traditional Bavarian wheat beer but with a Moldovan soul. This beer combines all the main characteristics of the hefeweiss style – a powerful wheat taste with hints of banana, a refreshing floral and clove aftertaste. It pares nicely with a piece of grilled meat or any kind of Bavarian sausages.

11-FEB-2016. Yep, still good... flavourful classic weizen profile, on the sweeter side. 7-4-7-3-14=3.5
19-AUG-2015. A newer batch is much better, without the flat carbonation and richer flavour. Pretty much in the ballpark of a good German hefeweizen. 7-3-7-3-14=3.4
17-MAY-2015. TAP from brewery. Deep amber and cloudy, medium frothy head - too small and bubbly for a weizen. Rich fruity aroma - more pine-apple than banana, quite spicy/clovy too. Smells pretty much like a classic weizen, until later, when you get some malty biscuits too. The taste is a bit too flat - like a weizen - just not so intense. It could be the carbonation, that is too low for the style. Otherwise, some fruit, wheat tartness, some malt sweetness too. Soft body, low-to-medium carbonation. 7-2-6-3-12=3
