A mild haze on this deep gold beer, burnished gold. Good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Soft malts, a soft creamy sweetness. Mild estery sweetness. A little rounded lemon leads mellow soft ripe citrus. Mild marmalade and mild pine. Smooth finish. Sweeter than I was expecting but goes down very easy.

Cloudy amber with big fluffy head. Roasted malt, raisin, banana, caramel, dark bread, some lemon zest. Fruity malty sweetness, hints of dry bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry fruity malty caramely swee finish. A very unusual Zwickelbier, rather on the sweet side, but very characterful and tasty.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with nice eggshell head. Aroma is bready, waxy, sweetish fruits, a touch sulphur, caramely. Taste is bready, toffee, fruity, actually less sweet than you would expect from the flavours that are there. Thick smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not the cleanest, but it has its charm.
