»The Original« Naturally cloudy and full-bodied – Genuine strong beer enjoyment. When Duke Erich handed Martin Luther a mug of Einbecker Beer at the Worms Reichstag in the year 1521 Martin Luther called out “the best drink known to man is called Ainpöckisch Beer.” His love to Katharina von Bora and to Ainpöckisch Beer was also shown at his wedding in Wittenberg when the council of the town of Wittenberg presented him a barrel of Einbecker as a gift. Already after his disputation in Leipzig in the year 1519 the council of the town of Wittenberg did welcome him by a jar of Einbecker Beer.

Bottled@Littlepub, Vaasa. Amber colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is nutty, some floral notes as well as some toasted and quite ryebready tones. Flavour is nutty, some floral, herbal, toasted and mild grassy notes. Very nicely balanced.

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemark in Moosburg and consumed at home Saturday 23rd April 2022 listening to Warmduscher - Hotspot. We had Asparagus and Ham Lasagna. Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Wasn't sure what to expect from this, however initial sweetness comes through, malt driven, a little honey, caramel and some biscuit a very light deft bitterness, it's a good beer.

Bottle from the Packie Lightly hazy light gold color with a decent sized frothy white head that persists. Big skunk when initially opened that mostly subsided when aired out. Rich bready toasty crackery malt with earthy spicy floral hops to counter. Medium body pretty tasty except for the mercaptin.

Code on the label is not decipherable by me.

It pours a clearish medium gold with a small and short lasting head of foam. Lacing is minimal.

Smell is of hops, citrus, actually reminds me of noble hops. Toasted malt with the hops going a grassy way.

Taste is caramel malt and toasted malt, has some notes of grain, hoppy in an unusual way; can't say noble hoppy, oh, yes I can. Also has a bit of a light struck taste to it. The bottle is green. There's a balance here that I truly admire.

Lovely mouthfeel, lovely beer. More please
