Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Massive thanks to Mateo! Pours lightly cloudy red with a fine, creamy white cap. Funky cherry nose, fresh and tangy berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with sharp, cutting tartness, cherries, good funk, jammy berries. Light bodied with average, bright carbonation. Super cleansing finish, bit of sweat, funk, light doughc cherries, more jammy berries. Really lovely stuff.

Red colour with a pinkish hue, slight white head. Aroma of red fruits, blackberries -bramen-, prunes and red berries. Quite sour flavour, blackberries, prunes, fruity red berries, fruit sours. Finish berries, blackberries and lots of funky goodness.
If I would have to guess, I’d say blackberries, maybe in combination with plums and/or some red berries. Regardless: I like this beer!

Thanks to Martinus for sharing this one. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Unlabeled with the name half-written on it with a white marker directly on the bottle. This is the new batch & apparently tried the previous batch during WoSF 2012 but I was told it wasn’t ratable, etc. because it was just an experiment & not sold commercially which this obviously is. Making a fruit lambic with a secret fruit and never telling what it is makes it seem like a bad joke to me but oh well, it is delicious. Blackberries appear to be the most popular theory as to what the secret fruit is. Pours bright pinkish, raspberry hued with no head. Totally picking up special fruits, blackberry, blueberry, touch raspberries, wild berries, soft fruit, blackberry seems like quite a like option indeed. Taste is blackberries & blueberries, lots of berries, fruity with a nice dash of De Cam acidity mixed in, sour lemon, sharp, tart, some fruit vinegar touches in the back, light herbs. Flat. Very clean, sharp, good. Mmm nice. /// Tried this a couple of time more, increased score from 4.7 to 4.8 - this is really, really good. ////// Opened yet another one of my bottles. Interesting fox, rhubarb, reddish appearance, whatever white bubbles as a head you have, they disappear immediately. Huge musty, fungus, reddish fruits in the nose, tart wild berries etc. Acidic red fruits, lemon in the taste, light vinegar, tart red fruits, very clean, funk, nice complimentary acidity etc. Very clean & easy to drink, this stuff remains superb.

75cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of Tinus. Rosé-acajou, col blanc fin.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Lightly unclear dark pink to red color, no head. Aroma is a bit faint but it has a nice fruity touch to it. Taste is very sour, fruits, fruitpeel, dry and tart. Decent body and carbonation.

Fruchtig kirschiger Beginn, geringe Säuerlichkeit, Pflaume. Süffig, erfrischend, wenig bitter. Die Fruchtnoten bleiben weich und konstant, sind aber insgesamt unscheinbar. /10/10/10//10
