At first we launched Sleeping Lemons, 3.6% with a tart, zingy acidity and rounded salt character, it was the perfect sunshine beer. It was our firm favourite all through the summer, however it’s not summer anymore…
Sleeping Lemons Export comes in at 6% lending a bigger, maltier body to the beer. The fuller mouthfeel and warming alcohol bring decadent flavours of lemon meringue pie to the character of this beer and the acidity is more rounded and reminiscent of lemon curd.
Made with preserved lemons, this re-release of an old favourite, now available in our 330ml bottles for you selfish people out there who feel sharing is all too much...

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy orange gold, with limited and quickly fading foam. Aroma is mineral, lemony. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is nicely salty, delicately sour. Finish is average.

Second beer from this brewery at the LCBO, in a 330ml bottle, but with no wax this time covering the cap. Pours a clean yellow colour at first, but the last pour is cloudy with some sediments going to the bottom. The white cap is fizzy disappearing quickly. Carbonation sends small bubbles to the top. Lemon smell, but not your usual sour lemony thing. Hints of saltiness. Just like in the taste. Almost like a mix of orange juice, more than sour lemons, but with other tropical fruits. A different Gose with the preserved lemons. Nice !

Slight haze. Light amber. Thin head. Lemons on the nose, with biscuity malt and a hit of yeastiness. Tart, lemony, and still with some maltiness. Not sure what's gose about this, really. It's a lemony tart ale.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a quickly-dissipating white head. Nose brings out plenty of pepper and lemon zest upfront, with a crisp acidity and plenty of salt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lemon zest, some pepper, light acidity and saltiness. Zesty, salty and pleasantly citric acidity on the finish. Nice one.
