Craft 100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Hazy paleish gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and finely crisp. Smooth pale malts. A little hop skunk and pine. Mild floral bitterness. Just a whisper of citrus. Light skunky finish. Pretty polite but it’s in nice condition so it’s goes down easy.

Cask at Craft 100, Clapham, Good Friday, 25th March 2016 in the company of Lynn, Barry, Jaqui and Simon. Pours almost copper in colour, with a white bubbly rim. A touch of fresh aerated pond water on the nose. Fresh, clean, good maltiness, pleasant bitter bite. Oops I have been rating the wrong beer by mistake, I’ve been rating Rattlesnake in error. Back to this beer, its got a little lemon, streaky citrussy edge, a bit of cereal. Quite good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at the Kings Arms - Bethnal Green, London. Pours totally clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has some ripe citrus, lemon, papaya, bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, with some gloopy sugars, more ripe citrus, doughy pale bread. Medium bodied with soft carbonation; the condition is wanting. Finishes with sugary pale malts, slight herbal notes, light piney bitterness, ripe lemon, tangerine. The poor condition really holds this back.

Cask @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, thin wispy white head. Aroma is light tropical citrus. Taste is smooth and lightly creamy. Soft, tropical fruit, lime, mango and peach coming through with a teasing faint bitterness. Lovely drinkability. Really a delicious pale that has echoes of Salopian’s fruitier moments.
