330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a smooth creamy white head, good retention, lacing. Aroma: light and fresh, lemon, floral hops, grass, maybe some wheat. Taste: citrus, lemon, grassy, low bitterness. As you’d expect it’s light bodied, lively carbonation, fairly thin watery texture. Certainly a light beer but refreshing and good for the ABV, could easily session it on a sunny day, very easy drinking.

Bottle at home, 18/06/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is tangy orange, pine, melon, pink grapefruit, citric tinged straw, ligh bread notes. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, faint mineral, lemon rind, melon, toasted grain, light grassy escape. Medium bodied, fine to slightly prickly carbonation, semi drying close with a solid dose of hop bitterness in check with the ABV. Decent well balanced session gear.

330ml bottle. Gold colour, white foam head and aroma of juicy tropical fruits, hoppy, with some grain and tangerine. Taste is malt caramel with tropical fruit, passionfruit, floral citrus zest and hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Growler (1l) from Thirsty, Cambridge. Light gold, only a bit of visible carbonation. Slightly hazy. Peach and banana bouquet. It’s muted but lovely all the same. Taste is gently sticky sweet, with some bitter fruity notes near the finish. Unfortunately there is an off, almost carboardy note that I didn’t expect from a brewery of this calibre. Oily texture. This has an amazing personality for such a low strength, but slightly messy so marking down a notch or two.

Sampled draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2016. Very hazy orange, creamy white head; nose is light grass, creamy thick base, yeast & hay. Taste is bitter hop oil, grapefruit & perfume upfront, rather mellow, low, leading into overly thick yeast & bit too much sugar. Muting the whole, bit too natural, too much yeast. Creamy & yeasty body. Passable but not very exciting, too sweet & yeasty overall.
