Keg at Maryensztadt taproom/restaurant, Warsaw, 15/07/19. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is chocolate, good blast of JD, toffee, dark malts, molasses. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, chocolate, bourbon, sweet malts, light roast, toffee. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Solid well rounded BA impy.

Appearance: 2018 vintage. Very dark brown, near black. Small, dark tan head. Aroma: Dark malt, prunes, roasted, some barrel. Taste: Dark malt, roasted, barrel/whiskey, some dark chocolate. Slight alcohol. Bought: amstein.ch, 330 ml, CHF 7.37 Info: 30/12-2020, BB: 21/1-2021

Draft @ Maryensztadt Beer and Food, Warsaw. Black colour, beige foam. Nose of roasted malts, chocolate and whisky. Taste is medium sweet, cocoa with a subtle whisky finish.

33cl bottle from Damian Bottle Shop in Bratislava (visited 22. 10. 2019). F: big, dark tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: rich dark malty, cocoa, chocolate, bit vinous, coffee, bit vanilla, woody, dark dried fruits. T: full dark malty body, chocolate, woody, dark caramel, bit vanilla, cocoa, coffee touch, bit vinous, dark fruits, soft carbonation, nice one, enjoyed.

24.4.2019. Tap at Salon piva. Slightly vegetal and grassy, the kind of off strong beers. Moderate Jack Daniels influence is present. Very tasty, but not as much as one could expect. The off notes distract somewhat. 6,6.
5.1.2025. Tap at BeerGeek. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, med-light sweetness. Med-light warmth, rounded nicely. Moderate cocoa, light sherry and dark berries. To be honest there is light oxidation, which is perceivably already starting to go acetic, which imparts more character than the barrel spirit itself - I am very familiar with Jack Daniels, and I do not get any of it here. Overall goodish, but definitely not greatish. 6,6

Jest troche milej beczki i czekoladowosci zarowno w aromacie jak i smaku, ale w uscie psuje duzo takie mokre, taniczne, niefajne drewno.
