29-02-20 // 330ml bottle at Sixties Mainz. 6.8% and 60 IBU for a lager is unusual, but that’s how you can play it as well. Good hop aromas. Well bittered. Smooth lager still though. Good one.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, brass colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and minimally sugary, malty aroma, hints of melon and lemon, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is slightly bitter, minimally tart-ish, fruity hoppy, hints of lemon, melon, gooseberry, minimally sugary, pale malty basis. A bit monotonous, not overly beefy.

Flasche: Golden, hazy, medium-sized very creamy and very stable white head, distinctive grapefruity-piney nose, malty background hardly detectable; solid dry bitter flavour, well hidden sweetness, medium bodied, tart and not so soft; lingering - what else? - dry grapefruity and piney finish, hardly balanced by a shy sweetness in the aftertaste. A bit too heavy. Could be better balanced...

0,33 l bottle purchased from the brewer at 6. Bremer Craft Bier Tage. BB 03.01.2020 version. Unclear golden with an huge more than two finger steady head. You can´t expect more. Intensive tropical hopy smell. Taste starts smooth fruity and resin followed by an increasing hop bitterness and malty backbone. Very balanced stuff. Pleasant long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Great stuff!

Süffiger, alkoholisch hopfiger Beginn imt deutlicher Bitterkeit. Hell herb, fein rauchig, gefällt. Spritzig, der Alkohol bleibt konstant, erhöhte Karbonisierung. Getreidig bitterer Ausklang. Nett! 9/10/11/11/9/10

Bottle from Biermuda. Smooth intense pine and resin. Sticky with a bittersweet back. Like a normal IPA - sticky pine and resin over a slightly sweetish and nice bittered grainy body.

Draught, at KCBD19. Good piney hop aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is juicy, nicely yeasty, nicely chalky. Tastes like NEIPA. Not bad at all. 738417
