Sander Hopfen-Bock, kaltgehopft mit ... Cascade, Fläschchen vom Craft Beer Store Steffenberg. - Goldbraun, klar; viel zu üppige Schaumbildung. - In der Nase schön exotisch-zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen mit trockener Grapefruit und süßer Litschi. - Antrunk füllig karamellig-hellmalzig, bocktypisch sämig, mit Honig und tiefer Bonbonsüße, überlagert durch kräftige, trocken zitrusfruchtige Hopfung mit Cascade. Milder rezent, weich im Mund. Im Abgang aromatisch zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe von vergleichsweise milder Bittere. - Eindimensionaler, effekthascherisch gehopfter heller Bock, ohne die runde Tiefe und Vielschichtigkeit fränkischer Bockbiere. Vielleicht paßt Cascade nicht zu dieser Biersorte?

01-10-19 // 330ml bottle. Purchased at Braumanufaktur Sander. Pours slightly unclear amber. White head. Caramel malts and melon notes in the nose. The huell melon shines really nice in this bock. The body is sweetish malty with a lot of cara malts. Good melon hop aromas. *Bottle 0957 out of 2300 from Edeka in Bensheim. Shared with Jan. Floral smooth beginning. Creamy malt, caramel with floral fruity hops. Moderate bitter. Nice.
