Pours slightly hazy golden with almost no head. The aroma is very fruity, dominated by pronounced banana notes typical of weizen yeast. On the palate, the beer feels rather thin, with the banana character taking center stage and overshadowing other potential flavors. While the fruitiness is expressive and stylistically appropriate, it becomes somewhat overpowering over time, limiting balance and depth. Overall: a recognizable and approachable wheat beer, but one where the yeast-driven banana character is too dominant for sustained enjoyment.

Bottle at Cafe Samson, Nijmegen. Sweet with an aroma of banana, citrus, some wheaty malt and spicy yeast. Lacks the finesse of a good Weizen. Medium body.

As Dargett Weizen at 5.0% ABV. Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a tall off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: Dried banana, other esters, bread, spicy notes, some old hop. Light sweet & bitter. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: No complaints.

Bottle 33cl. as Darget Weizen @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Cloudy deep golden colour, good frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, cloves, bergamot. Some banana. Taste light to medium sweet and slightly bitter, wheat malt, bergamot, some banana, cloves, yeast, some medicinal notes. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, more bitterness in the finish, unusual weizen, okay.

0,33 flaske (Dargett Weizen) fra lokalt supermarked, på hotellrommet i Jerevan etter dagens sightseeing: uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Deilig krydret maltsmak og fint balanserende bitterhet. Appelsinmarmelade og koriander henger igjen i den lange ettersmaken. Jeg stikker ned på hjørnet og kjøper en til.

Smooth mild beginning. Soft caramelly, slightly grainy with a neutral back. Clove is there, soft smooth nice yeast. Fruity, slightly grainy with a nice soft fruity clove yeast in the finish.

Hazy golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of clove, wheat malt, phenols. Taste of clove, some vegetables, herbs, wheat malt.
