Our lager beer with an exuberant yet peaceful character. Sly and with a subtle hint of malt. The feast of the liberation. This real Pilsner beer has a pure taste with honest, selected ingredients. High-quality brewed from malt, water, hops and yeast, a fresh lager is a real thirst quencher. The beer has been brewed since 1937.

Alsof je op een tentfeest na het nekken toch weer aan de pils gaat. Roept slechte herinneringen op.

Slight apple aroma with hints of urine. Fairly bland, although not entirely without hops. Watery texture. Very mediocre pils.

Sampled from 0.25 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Tongeren) as 'prik & tik Pils', best before March 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, corn and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, grassy taste of grains, straw and hints of cardboard, followed by a short, medium bitter, quite grassy and rather dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not too bad.

500mL can, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet cereal malt, grass and sweet corn. Flavour is skunky and stale, with grass, straw, cereal and cardboard. Vile stuff. Undrinkable drain pour.

Can. Golden. Thin, bubbly head. Grassy hop extract aroma, with light grainy pale malts. This is thin, light, and quite grainy. Strong cidery note is unappealing. Low bitterness. There are worse swills in the world, but this is basically a shade below average.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Super clear pale golden with little white head; nose is metallic industrial corn, plastic, oily, strongly metallic. Taste is dull, served very cold, watery, hugely metallic, plastic, ice cubes. Oily, industrially & massively metallic body. Industrial-like pale lager nonsense, largely bland & watery but you get this massive metallic note etc. on top.

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit malty, grains, not much else. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very metallic, grains, cow fodder. Aftertaste: rust, metallic rod, bah.

One of those old-fashioned regional lagers made by smaller family brewers. This one has a pale golden colour and thinnish snow white head; neutral taste with some malt sweetness, some graininess and something faintly metallic, with little hops in the finish. Too neutral and shy perhaps, but honest and crisp - have some points for that.
