Amber color, frothy head. Soapy, faintly smoky aroma. Strange smoky flavor, like beechwood. Is this intentional in this beer? Malt whisky-like character. Hint of pear in the aftertaste. Unexpected, but not unpleasant.

Sampled draft @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Oily amber tea looking with no head. Nose is heavy oily licorice, tea, sugar, herbal. Taste is oily plastic, tea, bark, dull overly licorice heavy, wet leaves. Oily & brown sugar heavy. Overly heavy on plastic, messy & just not that good.

(slow) GUSHER ALERT!
Clear red brown beer, fizzy aery white head, unstable, dissipates immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, metallic, bit spicy, some banana, fruity, sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, some mocha, lots of spices, bit metallic. Aftertaste: very metallic, little sweet, caramel, banana, yeasty touch, bitter hops. Way too metallic, did not like this.

Bottle 75cl.Clear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, damp-stained, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

75 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a fully gone head. Vague malty and slight roasted aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a light bitterness showing through alongside a mild acidc touch from the spices. Medium dry and mild spiced finish.
