Orange blond and cloudy. Thick frothy head. Creamy aroma with some citrus. Prickly, medium bodied. Citrusflavor with some creamy hopbitterness. A hint of cherry. Some tartness. Well made beer, worthy of the type. re-rate, almost 10 years later. Tasted march 2013. Floral citric aroma and flavor with white pepper. Tart with a firm hopbitterness. Floral finish. Once again a good example of the style.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery shop, best before February 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a huge, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty aroma of banana, peach and clove. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of peach, banana and clove, followed by a long, rather bitter, peppery finish. Medium body, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Tasty, but again too much carbonation spoils the positive impression. Their beers could be so much better with a less foamy appearance.

Very fresh and grassy saison. Spicey and bitter notes, with some mild aroma hops. Really nice.

Backlog. 33 cl bottle enjoyed Feb. 2004. Orange/amber color. Dense head, with a small layer remaining. Aroma’s: Fruit, caramel, malty sweetness. Flavor is caramel, medium sweet, light fruity acidity. Medium bodied. Finishes medium bitter. Very nice, but a bit too strong & full for a saison.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012, Bratislava. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Pepper, yeast, brett and fruit. Dry. Really "clean" - in a Dutch way. Nice.

21/07 RBESG Grand Tasting, 0.33 l bottle. It poured hazy yellow body with quite big head. Nice lemony hop aroma. Flavor was weaker as expected, biscuit maltiness was the base with some lemony hops around. Not bad, but too subtle and rather simple. Slightly sweet, slightly acidic. Thin body with shorter finish. As most of its brothers by style, this beer is very weak, without too much character. Although it was dangerously drinkable with no alcohol felt at all, I didn’t like it so I have to go against the grain.

33cl bottle [thanks to EricKok] shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Clear golden color, small off-white lacing. Smell is weird: wet grass, weed, some acidity. Taste malts, lightly herbal, lightly sweet. Medium body, medium carbo.

Bottle thx benzai. Very clear golden yellow colour with little to no head. Smells like marihuana, sweaty feet, herbs, soapy.. Really bad smell. Tastes like it smells. I really don’t like this. Low carbo, thinnish body.
