[9/26/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Black with a brown head. Aroma of roast. Bittersweetish roasty flavor with a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Draught@The Bull and Bear Inn, Stockholm. Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is diacetyl, liquorice, some ashes, mild toasted malts and coffee. Also quite strong on the hoppy side of the aroma. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, some hops and mild buttery notes.

At Borefts. Light beige, stable head, colour a very dark and blackish burgundy. Aroma of bitter chocolate, lemon zest, caramel, grapefruit peel, black tea; soft fruity onset, some candied sweetness, caramelly with toasted edge, quite thick mouthfeel, long finish of roasted bitterishness and spicy hops. Very pleasant.

Tap, 8.2 % abv,at Haand Ølfestival, shared with Finn. Clingy lacing from a fawn coloured head. Coal black body. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate malt. Likewise, the taste character is roasted with a touch of pine and wood leading to a malt-bitter ending. Oily palate. Well balanced and easy to appreciate (Drammen 29.05.2015).

On tap at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Close to black with a modest, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits, some licorice, fairly mild hoppy and earthy notes and hints of wood and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with dominating roasty flavours and a certain bitterness. Medium+ body with fairly average carbonation. Tasty and balanced.

Borefts VI. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry with fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, whisper of roast. Little lactose like malt cream sweetness. Mild tangy fruits. Little floral bitterness. Light dry finish. All right.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a creamy off white head. Aroma is malty, caramelish and roasted. Sweet, caramelish and slight breadish. Bitter and toasted malty. Dry and slight bitter into the finish.
