Cloudy yellow pour, large white head. Very floral Aroma, lots of green grass, slightly peppery, and some nice soft wheat. Subtle flowers, some honeysuckle and basil. Mouth feel is good, carb is normal. Finish is very low bitter, and has a super the twang in the end with hint of tropical fruit and white pepper.

Bottle, date somewhat suspiciously scuffed. Clear gold with a large white head that fades rapidly. Aroma of light dough, flowers, green stalks - they bother me at first, then not so much. Honey is only obvious upon a sip, and it has that richness without real sweetness as well as whatever makes it seem drier at the end. Floral and mildly spicy at the end - and maybe there _is_ a hint of berries - but not really bitter at all. Interesting, pretty good.

Huge foam. Nice Brett character, bone dry, but surprisingly weaker in the finish; peppery and a bit vegetable.

750ml shared with Alex and Brian in Golden Ears on the secret beach. Appearance: dirty ⛅ straw color with a huge white head. Aroma: nice funk and Brett. Taste: along the same lines with some 🌶 ry notes. Overall: pretty 👍, but this Saison is a bit too 🇧🇪 for me 😁

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of saison yeast, earthy notes, some wildflowers, and spiciness. Flavour is spicy, earthy and floral in wonderful cohesion, with a great earthy character, lots of spiciness, saison yeast, and dry biscuity malt. Sort of a pine needle spiciness on the finish. This is wonderfully done.

500ml bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with sediment floating around and a large, fluffy, long lasting, white head that laces. Floral aroma with lemon, brettanomyces and coriander. Sweet fruity flavour of lemon, banana, floral, honey, coriander, brett and biscuit malt in the background with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Bottle sample @ Vine Birre Ribelli ’16.
