Aroma: Roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, lactose, vanilla.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, a bit sweet, vanilla.

On tap at Alus Celle, Riga Milk and chocolate in the nose. Pours pretty much jet black with a small beige head. In the mouth it is sweet, smooth, and chocolatey, with hints of sticky toffee. A velvet caress of the tongue, but a bit thin overall. Finish is mainly chocolate but with some malts. I like this one

Bottle from Taka, Riga (also available at Alus Celle) Pours almost black with not much head. Malty aroma, with mouthfeel starting off with grainy maltiness and milk chocolate. Then it all goes wrong, the chocolate fades and there isn’t much behind it.

Smell- medium strong, dark chocolate, coffee, roast Foam- medium thick, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee notes, some sweetness and bitterness. Medium large, chocolate milk color, quite dark actually, brown. Appearance- very dark brown, almost black Taste- bit of condensed milk + coffee notes, roast, dark chocolate and sweetness, some weak alcohol notes, but might be my imagination. Some bitterness in aftertaste. Good.
