Fat på All In Beer Fest 2017. Svart med riktigt krämigt, mörkbrunt skum. Kryddigt och nästan lite rågsyrligt med söta inslag av mörkt socker, chark och avkok från enbärsris. Även toffee, choklad och lite fikabröd.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of cardamon, ginger, dark chocolate, and syrupy roasted malts. Flavors of rich roasted malts, nutty dark chocolate, vanilla, cardamon and ginger, and a little coconut and orange peel. Really tasty and nicely balanced for a spiced beer.

33cl bottle. Pitch black pour with a fluffy porter-like tan head. Notes of cardamon, mint, licorice, roasted malts, caramel, toffee, some citrus bitterness which I assume is the orange peel, light hop bitterness. Medium body, medium-low carbonation and a roasty spice-sweet finish.

Draught at Ølbaren, shared with Skinnyviking. Decent tan-coloured head, dotted spots on the glass, jet black body. Dark bread and red orange on the nose. Taste of red orange, coffee and mid-sweet spices. Dark malts and citrus peels to the ending. Creamy on the mouth. Well made. Tasty. (Copenhagen 11.05.2017).

Tap at Erzbierschof Winterthur. Pours black. Aroma is coffee, orange, cardamom, chocolate. Body is heavy, rather sweet, soft carbonation. Pleasantly fruity, orange, peel, citric. A bit oily, but not too much. Palate is long and sweet, little orange. Unusual, but quite good.

Tap @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Pours Dark Brown nearly black with a off white head. Roast, coffee, cardemom times ten. Full bodied. Soft with a roasted bitter finish. But the Spice is totally in control and fails to acknowledge the rest of the liquid which actually is good beer.
