Bottle no. 03873. Black, thick light brown foam. Smells roasty, cocoa, bit of whisky. Quite thin, but soft and a bit boozy. Taste is medium sweet, some smokyness, definitely whisky, not too much. Enjoyable for sure.

330 ml bottle. Pours murky jet black with a creamy mocha head. Loads of dark chocolate, toffee, liquorice and whiskey, vanilla, dried pear, bitter almond, Marillenschnaps. Boozy sweetness, dry bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bittersweet boozy finish, well balanced and easy to drink yet complex, alcohol well hidden. Great stuff.

Bottle picked up from Bier Souvenir, Fussen and consumed sat in Frank at Lenggries Mountain Camping listening to Kate Tempest (3 Wise Women) on 6 Music, Boxing Day 2019. Pours black with a beige head, super smooth, rich, lots of cocoa, lovely, lovely indulgent super rich Impy Stout. This is brilliant, the whisky touches are great.

Bottle. Dark dark brown, with a light brown head. Serious oaky whisky aroma, with a light sweetness in the background. Heavy sweetness but well balanced as the roasted malts and hop content comes on the back end. Light soy, really delicious, I can highly recommend it.
