These bottles represent the culmination of a coffee beer project nearly two years in the making. Double Shot, our beloved coffee stout, has been refined time and time again to achieve a beer that is both as robust in its base as it is a worthy purveyor of its respective coffee. We experience flavors and aromas of dark chocolate, caramel, milk chocolate covered espresso beans, and a hint of citrus-like acidity. The mouthfeel is luxurious with a soft and velvety carbonation. It is, in our opinion, the result of what is possible with the careful selection of ingredients paired with attentive brewing execution. We invite you to enjoy this bottle fresh and in your most beloved company!

Sample at the Brisket and Beer tasting on 11/02/2019. Black pour with some brown around the edges, and a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky latticework of lacing. Aroma of roast coffee, chocolate and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of roasty espresso, chocolate malt, and touches of fruit and maple. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Very good beer all around.

Sampled between ratebeer and Brewver, so didnt take much notes. This one was coffee forward, but still balanced, showing the nice base of a great stout.

(Thanks, John jcwattsrugger) Bottle. A- Espresso, mild bell pepper. A- Black color, dark liquid, minimal head. T- Espresso, medium bitterness, roasty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- Pretty nice stuff. Not overly complex but loaded down with bitter earthy coffee. I think this would be much better as a barrel aged version. Good but not outstanding.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to New Ken. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Overall, a tad thin. Thin dark chocolate malts. Earthy coffee in there. Little spirity coffee liqueur. Light semi dry finish. Flavoursome but the mouthfeel is a let down for me.

Samtidigt inte helt up my alley. Gott, ändå!

Draught @ Tree House, Chorlton, MA. Smooth, roasty and slightly sweetish with with some creamy notes, loads of coffee, mocha, espresso and vanilla. A bit too sweet.
