Bottle. A thin layer of tan bubbles sits on top of a lightly oily dark brown body. The aroma has a touch of booze, with lots of cocoa. Some coffee. It's full-bodied, rather warming and quite sweet on the palate, with roasted malts, coffee and brown sugar. Lots of cocoa flavor. Nice, but a tad too warming and lacking a bit on complexity. 210613

Bottle at home, as Stuf't (Batch 3). Very dark brown. Oreo cookies, quite bitter chocolate, roasted malts, bit of bourbon and vanilla. Boozy. Ok beer, but expected a bit more for a $20 33cl bottle. Purchased at Consumer's Beverages

ABV: 14.8%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, cocoa, vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, cocoa. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200829]

Bottle from D&Q. Pours black with medium tan head. The aroma is strong roast, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, wood, licorice. Thick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy finish, very nice.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours black with a nice tan head. Aromas of dark pit fruits and chocolate flavors are sweet and chewy. Nice one.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small brown head, some lacing. Aroma is heavy cocoa, licorice, roast, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, light plus bitter. Full body.
