Feeling the bite of the British winter, we decided to riff on two classic styles typically best enjoyed when its cold outside. Combining the smooth, clean body and strength of a Baltic Porter with the rich malt profile and yeast aromatics from a traditional Brown Ale, this hybrid is multi-layered and remarkably full-flavoured without sitting heavy on the palate.

Can from Made Inn Ashford and drunk at home. Dark brown colour lasting beige head. Chocolate biscuit aroma. Liquid light chocolate in the mouth. Lightef yeast of a Baltic. As I say a bit like a milk chocolate digestive biscuit quite enjoyable

Can. CW online, I think. Mostly clear, dark ruby red. Thin and messy, sticky, light tan head. Nose has dried vine fruit. Molasses. Cocoa powder. Sugary tea loaf. Taste is pretty sweet, with some earthy dryness. Smooth on the palate. A tad sticky. Fine carbonation. Light dry, and vinous bitterness to finish.
