Our Pineapple Sculpin IPA came from one of many small-batch cask experiments to enhance the flavor of our signature IPA. With so many tropical hop notes in Sculpin, how could we not try adding some sweet, juicy pineapple? The combination of fruity flavors and hop intensity definitely packs a punch.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of pineapple upfront, followed by piney hops. Flavour is very cohesive, with the pineapple and piney hops working harmoniously together to give a nice tropical fruitiness to this. Really nice rendition of Sculpin.

Draft at lupulo tap house Santa Cruz. Mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a thin White head. Aroma is fruity pineapple, grapefruit. Semi sweet grains, wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet juicy pineapple. Woody, citrus and light pine hop. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation. Drying slightly pithy finish. Good lingering canned pineapple character.

Bottle. Pours clear orange, medium off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is light pineapple, a bit grungy, urine, pine. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, pineapple and grunge again. Medium body. Not really doing it for me.
