Bottled December 2015, 37.5CL. Should be interesting. I can smell sour grapes when I was pouring it. Enjoyed at fridge temp in a tulip. 2 finger head formed and didn’t fade. It smells wonderful. Tart, lemony, watermelon, grape and a tropical brett Pale ale aroma. The flavor starts tropical brett, finishes more like a copper penny with metal and yeasty rotten lemon candies. Great carbonation, wish it wasn’t so metallic flavored.

Bottle from ? Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is mixed - overall soapy, but maybe a touch of vinegar and some pedio? Med body or so. Flavor is a little acidic, maybe a bit pedio. Mostly it’s coming across as excessive floral perfume for me. Cap says bottled in 2015 - maybe it’s getting better sitting around. Anyway I’m finding it drinkable. Dry, mildly acidic, somewhat bitter. Belches a touch acetone.

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Bottle. Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for this one. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Good candy fruits. Slight sourness and bitterness follows. Mild tangerine and pith. Very tasty.

[9/24/16] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day two. Yellow. Funky aroma, floral, fruity, zesty, a bit of spiciness. Sweetish and tart flavor, funky, spicy, with a bit of bitterness, earth. Nice.

Thnx to Bart, trough Tim ! Pours rather unclear amber, good white head. Smell is intense, toilet-products, soapy. Taste is intense, bitter, cleaning products. I know infection, and it doesn’t taste like this. This tastes as if there have been cleaning products falling in the beer...

Bottle sample @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Thanks Tim. At least, Dolle is being honest, hey, bad batch, sour it up, hype it, sell it to the US, works wonders. Glad I didn’t buy it. Dorée, presque orangée, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez citrique assez dominant, plein de levure infectée, rétro belge niveau de base des grains avec un houblonné peu présent. Palais est tjrs autant centré sur le citrique, brett avec un fini belge de malt pâle et pils. Impression de banane pas mûrie avec un lacto d’ananas. L’acidité et aigreur continuent en fin de bouche sans approche le vinaigre mais le tout est clairement identifiable comme infecté.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 2. Very hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, very soapy, dishwasher water. Not very nice at all imo.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Borefts 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity and moderately funky aroma of peach, bergamot, glue and some soap. Sourish-fruity, slightly funky taste of peach, glue, soap and bergamot, followed by a short, slightly tart and dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent and moderately astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very pleasant.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016. Sehr trübes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen roten Früchten, floral bitter, Gewürze, limetten. Geschmack sehr floral hopfig, grüne Pflanzen, zitronig, Tee, lange Bitterkeit.

Clear deep blond beer, huge creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: immensely floral, soapy, sourish, bit fruity, citrus, grapefruit. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: soapy start, sourish, weird bitterness, lots of grapefruit, funky, unpleasant bitterness. Aftertaste: very medicinal, sour, lots of grapefruit, funky acidity. Not my thing.
