Translates as Higher & Lower. The aroma of this golden orange colored India Pale Lager is dominated by citrus, tropical fruit, honey and flowery notes due to the yeast and cascade hops. It tastes sweet and bitter with tones of grapefruit, grass and a hint of mango. A crisp, hoppy and light bodied lager which is at it best at a drinking temperature of 7°C

Bottle from Taniguchi. Bit lemony, grapefruit hop nose, some cat piss, lots of zest, and some pine. bit soapy, maybe, with light malt. Cloudy pale golden, glowing a bit, with a low head. Tasty. Very resiny, lots of grapefruit, lots of pine. Nice lemon. Crisp, crackery malt. Crisp, not all that lager-like, but very nice all around.

Buddel: Golden with an orangey sheen, cloudy, big and stable white head; distinctive nose of lemons and some exotic fruits, herbal-grassy and piney traces underneath; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; lingering drier piney-grassy finish. A kind of bottom-fermented IPA...

Tap @ Brouwcafe de Molen, medium sample. Slight hazy light golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of earthy and grassy hop, slight flowery, hint of sulphury yeast, bit citrus as well. Medium bitterness in taste, grassy, bit flowery. Good one!

Premiant and Cascade hops. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has good fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Thin malts provide a little creamy sweetness. Nice orangey hops, touches of lemon and pith. Light floral orange finish. Mild bitter linger. Nice beer, just not very lager like.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden yellow with a frothy, white head. Slightly sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, fresh grass and a touch of grapefruit. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of lemon, some grapefruit, fresh grass and a touch of sweet malts, followed by a short, crisp bitter, grassy and quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Really refreshing, great Lager!

Bottle. Fuzzy orange yellow pour. Aroma has grainy malt, mild hop bitter and some sweetness. Fresh bitter taste of grain, mild pine, bitter grassy hops and subtle fruitiness. Quite good for a lager.

Thank you tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Wish you were Adam Chandler” tasting. Bottled 18/05/2016. Hazy orange golden with little white head. Nose is pretty nice, mango & peach juicy hops, faint litchi, touch oily. Taste is way lesser for me unfortunately, massively bitter plaster, overly bitter, too much & nasty plaster, mango & peach are only faintly in the back some grass,… overall way too big somewhat off-putting bitterness. Body is powdery yeast, would have preferred this with fruity hop notes upfront in the taste.
