Argus Lager, 4.9%, "gebraut in Sachsen nach Deutschem Reinheitsgebot", available side by side with the Polish version in Lidl Bucharova Prague. Very silly we have these all in one entry... what with this one being very proud of being "Gebraut in Deutschland". Shiny crystal clear body, fairly lasting white head. Dry, minerally taste, some very clean, dry maltiness, quite a light body, making the low IBU actually feel like some bitterness is there. The most generic lager, but actually falling 8/5/5/7/5.5

Argus Lager, 5%, brewed at Van Pur's Jędrzejów plant. Bought at Lidl Bucharova Prague, and drunk while Switzerland cheating its way to the Eurovision Song Contest win was being made official. Full golden body, thick white head. Sweet red and green apple notes over some soft maltiness in the aroma. Lean, soft taste, some apple and malty touches, grainy maltiness vaguest of herbal hop touches. I mean... meh? 8/4/4/6/4.5

Can, 4.7%. Bready aroma. Clear golden colour. Big stable plasticky white head. The flavour is bready and lagery with a slightly rough bitterness. Watery finish. Typical macro lager.

Can. Clear pale gold with an ok white head. Aroma of grains, corn and sweet starch. Taste unfortunately follows aroma with the welcome addition of metal and cardboard. Way too sweet but the gods show some mercy by letting any traces of taste disappear in a blink of the eye. Medium carbonation. Blandness hits hard.
