Smaksprøve på ØST: klar gyllen med tett skum. Nydelig aroma av lyse tropiske frukter - ananas, mango og de obligatoriske citrusinntrykk. Særdeles myk og innsmigrende, voltstyrken er nesten ikke merkbar. Humlepreget er diskret og elegant og balanserer samtidig maltsødmen.

Draft @ Beer wars, the second beer I had during the blind tasting. Pours a bright golden orange with striking clarity and a finger of white head. Intense nose of citrus and topical fruit, very pungent with hops. Huge hop flavor, sweet and bitter. Outstanding. Easily the best of the Boise beer wars... probably one of the best Imperial IPAs I’ve ever had.

Draught@CBC2015. Slightly hazy off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some toffee, caramel and mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is quite strongly floral and fruity bitter, but gets it nicely balanced up with the sweet malts and also the alcohol sweetness.

Growler. Pours clear orange Amber, small beige head, solid lacing. Aroma is Citrus, pine, tea, , somewhat tropical. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, lots of herbal, some tea. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Tap @ Speakeasy, Tallinn. Pours amber with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is citrus, mango, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, mango, citrus, grapefruit, caramel. Finish is long grapefruit bitter. Alcohol is rather well covered considering the ABV. Overall: great brew.

Tap@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen - amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is tropical fruity, peachy and grapefruit prominence, some grassy and floral hoppy undertones, caramel malts, solid DIPA.

Aroma has strong tropical fruit tones. Also mellow citrus & grapefruit. Flavour has gluey tones, strong grapefruit, tropical fruits, pineapple juice and alcohol – especially in the finish. A bit too much alcohol and glue, but definitely not bad still. A big one.
