This Triple IPA bursts with bright citrus, mango, and tropical fruit, all backed by sticky pine and a danky edge. A clean and light malt bill allows for a dry, smooth, dangerously drinkable finish.

Sehr grasig, wenig klebrig. Vollmundig, harmonisch, im Nachgeschmack leicht brennend. 11/13//10/14/13

Pale orange. Solid white head. Huge simcoe nose. It smells like a juicy orange smoothie. Tastes amazing. Insanely juicy. Uh, this is not an 11.5% abv beer. It’s so juicy and no sweetness. Wow. This is special

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Pours a bright clear copper color with a medium white head. A nice fruity resinous nose. The flavor is slightly hot, grainy, big lemon and resin. Smooth and flavorful. Good.

Keg at Beermongers in Portland, OR on 5 June 2013. Pours a light amber, unfiltered haziness. Wonderful, exploding hoppy aroma with warming hints of the alcohol content. Juicy and citrus hops are balanced by the alcohol and a sweet malt flavour on the palate.

Growler split at Endo’s, thanks to the man himseld, 25/05/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head. Nose is hop forward, pine, bitter grapefruit, bitter orange, caramel malt light, tropical fruits. Taste comprises juicy and fresh hops, big pine bite, caramel malt, grpaefruit, orange pith, bitter tropical notes, light mango. Full bodied, fine carbonation, pine bite and lightly warming with a moderate level of hop bitterness in the finish. A great TIPA, alcohol is well integrated. Not as drinkable as hop venom but a well balanced big IPA none the less.

Woodshed 2.0. Growler share courtesy of dak. It pours with a deep gold body with copper hues and supporting a white head of foam. The aroma offers up big yummy rich grapefruit, tangelo and mango like fruity hoppiness as well as some malt sweetened onions and shallot danky earthy goodness. The taste is smooth and rich with a mix of tangerine and mango hop flavor notes that are sweetened a tad by maltiness and then running into both resiny and dank like shallot and onion earthy hop goodness. Damn. This is big and rich and smooth and yummy but for the claim of a IIIPA it is a little tame. Damn good nonetheless.
