330ml bottle. Moderately cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, mostly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma, a herbal touch, notes of pineapple, mirabelle. Taste is citrusy hoppy, minimally chalky, notes of lemon, lemon zest, diluted passion fruit, slightly husky, wheaty basis, some quince and woody pineapple in the finish; light and slightly watery. Don’t know if this had been appreciated by Stirner or Černyševskij.

Bottle at home. Slight hazy pale yellow with white head. Lychee, grapefruit, pineapple, soft spices, light grassy and herbal towards the finish. Some dough and biscuits. Light sweet and a bit more bitter. Medium bodied with quite some carbonation and light feel for a wheat ale. Good hoppy stuff!

Huge, very dense & fine white head over veiled orangey-golden beer, well-carbonated. Aromatic, fruity New World hops, passion fruit, lychee, rosewater, citruspeel. Bit dullish, dry-spicy flavour. Herbal and faintly again New World hops, mainly in the finish. Sugary (white candi -) sweetness underneath. Aftertaste develops something faint ashy-smokey, but very mildly so. Spritzy, light body, faint slickness. Somewhat better than the usual wit. Bière nihiliste is every bit as tiresome as satirique.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Citrus hazy, little white head. Nose is malty, lemon, zest, oddly lactic touch. Taste is overly yeasty, dull at best, lots of white sugar, odd lactic touch. Weird, something lactic, overly white sugar, not a big fan. I do love the deScription “Bière blanche nihiliste”.

[9/19/15] Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles in Brussels. Cloudy yellow. Lovely hoppy aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Flavor has some wheat, a spicy note, and nice bitter fruity hops. Quite light-bodied. Very good stuff.

White Rabbit Biere Blanche Nihiliste 5% This brewery, Saint Cru from Alsace, is obviously inspired by Brewdog and their nihilistic white ale pours a cloudy honey with a crazily hoppy citrus aroma. Not at all a French white beer much more an American wheat ale. A raspy carbonation on a medium body delivers mild wheat notes and tons of juicy citrusy hops. It pairs well with my tabbouleh couscous salad. Tasty.

A hazed golden wit with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with esters, light floral hops, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with orange pulp, light resinous grassy hops, smooth citrusy character, refreshing. On tap at Express de Lyon.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, modest yeasty. Light fruity notes of banana. Finish more dry, wheaty, spicy. Okay.
