This tentacled terminator packs a punch - ten punches to be precise. Each hop addition adds to the intense layers of depth in this red rye IPA. Toasty caramel & cinder toffee from crystal malts, cacao richness from intensely roasted malt and the spiciness of rye. Zesty pithiness from citra and the robust resin of chinook. This small batch exclusive brew is up-front intensity matched with twisted complexity.

The can features awesome custom art from Joe Wilson.

Can. Amber colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is rye, some mild spices, herbs and mild wooden and herbal notes. Flavour is citrus, some spruce, mild rye as well as some herbal notes. Quite balanced, and actually very easy to drink.

Can from Brewdog Brussels. Pours ruddy copper with a beige head. Aroma is sort of spicy, hoppy malty. Med body or so. Flavor has a sort of burnt rubber aspect, but the hop crazy and the rye spicy really make that work. Love rye. Not strongly bitter, and the flavor is quite a mix, but lots of hop and rye make anything work.

A really nice a tasty hoppy red ale. Nice for late evenings.
Lovely clear amber color with a thick tan head. Good lacing. Nice intensity in the aroma. Medium to full body and pleasant soft-ish carbonation. Just a little bit to sweet to be perfect in my book. Oily texture. Bready, tropical fruity, pine and resinous flavor.

Can. Clear amber with an inch of beige head. Rich spiced toffee aroma with some cocoa and kumquats, slight mango. Very clean - it’s richly layered with toast, toffee and caramelized fruit, but quite limpid. So the rye spiciness and slight pine aren’t strong but emerge unhindered. Not totally my sort of thing but very well put together.
