On tap at Ale Industries, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal and vegetal, with citrus hops and a vegetable-like crunchiness. Flavour is similar, with herbal hoppy bitterness, some vegetal notes, pine and crisp biscuity malt. Very bitter, bordering on abrasive territory. A little too vegetal and unpleasantly bitter. Okay.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Quite hazy orange, solid white head. Nose is mandarin sorbet, pulpy orange juice, real freshly squeezed orange juice pulp. Nose is light yeast, mold mixed with squeezed orange juice pulp, touch sweetish. Medium body. The pulpy orange juice taste & smell make this one fun, not perfect but a fun beer.

Little taster. Grassy, dry malts, some citrus and pine. Crisp, light, refreshing. Quite nice and very drinkable.

Thanks for the hook up Albert! Hanshin Seed Event from a bomber. A clear gold, off-white head. Light malts, grassy in the aroma. Sharp carbonation, sandy mouthfeel. Clean green hoppy bitterness. Very bitter, pine all the way tasty but too bitter for me. Lots of flavor for less than 5% ABV though.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber orange, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is pine needles, spruce, floral, almost perfume musk. Flavor is similar, medium sweet and light plus bitter with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body, a bit watery and chalky. Not bad, a little old school.

Light amber color. Malt focused, light bodied simple yet nice brew. Not quite bitter enough.

Earth, pine, orange and citrus aromas are all balanced together. A sweet grain malt aroma also shows moderately. Hazy golden orange with white head that lingers and has slight lacing. Flavor of orange, dank and pine. Strong bittering doesn’t really balance well for a session ale. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and beer finishes quickly.

Draught. Pale with lots of lacing and white head. Light hop aroma. Light malt among the hop. This is almost an IPA in hoppiness.

Pours a light amber color, about a medium/light wood stain. Quite clear. The off-white head puffs up nicely at first, and there’s good lacing and retention. The aroma has a fair dose of hops, though a bit less than expected from the label description. That said, it’s a nice blend of tangerine, marijuana and spruce, in that order of strength. There’s a fair bit of crystal malt character, as well. Wish they’d pulled back on that more. It just gives a bit too much of a caramel, brown sugar tone to the aroma. Possibly, a touch of diacetyl but not so much as to be a major concern - sort of like some British ales. The taste starts with light caramel-ish malt sweetness but dries out and the hop flavor picks up. Nice mix of citrus and floral hoppiness. Lightly bitter finish. Carbonation is average for the style. Otherwise, mouthfeel is fairly light and a bit oily. It’s easy to drink, and I quite like the style, but the darker malt doesn’t sit quite right with me, and the beer doesn’t otherwise offer enough to make me want to come back for more. Still, it’s a nice attempt, and I think they had a good thought with this beer. It just could use some tweaking for my palate.
