Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is booze and caramel malt. Medium mouth, dark chocolate, light roast, strong bourbon, very good.

750ml bottle shared by MadBeerBaron. 2012 vintage, with a little over a year on it. Brown-black body, Soapy head. Big bourbon chocolate aroma. Deep barrel tones. Pretty nice, some red fruit, coffee. Gets boozier as it warms. Pretty solid, but the booze and age steal a little of the malt tones, I’d guess.

Bottle thanks to the trade. Pours black with a dark brown head taht dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bitter dark grains with some coffee and a good amount of boozy bourbon. Flavor starts with dark grains and bitter chocolate with a strong bitter bourbon finish.

Tap @ Rackhouse Colorado Rare Beer Tasting. Pours a black appearance with a brown head. Super rich whiskey, caramel, vanilla, chocolate aroma. Pretty boozy/whiskey, caramel, chocolate, somewhat woody, cocoa flavor. Pretty tasty but a bit strong.
