Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Jeff. Diacetyl butter alert!!!

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Hazy, golden amber, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of honey, caramel and some mango. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey and some mango, followed by a short, slightly bitter, resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Okay.

Thank you for sharing jefverstraete! 500 ml. bottle shared @ RBBWG V. BBF 05.05.2016. Hazy golden, small white head. Nose is big butter with a layer of floral & zesty hops on top, some onion hops & more butter. Taste is heavy butter, popcorn mixed with onion hops, low floral hops. Buttery body. It seems to me that Czech Republic & Polish beer lovers not only don’t mind some butter in their beers but actually love it. Unfortunately I am not quite accustomed to it nor am I a fan of it. 96 overall & 95 for style score on here is lost on me.

20/II/16 - 50cl bottle @ RBBWG V (Ben's place) - BB: 5/V/16 (2016-190) Thanks to JefVerstraete for sharing the bottle!

Little hazy orange beer, irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: some diacetyl, fruity, caramel, exotic fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet touch, very hoppy, bit resinous, buttery, diacetyl, very bitter. Aftertaste: hoppy, funky touch, weird, a bit off, floral, somewhat resinous. Good hops are being wasted in this by diacetyl overpowered beer. A shame.

Sampled from bottle @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Quite clear orange color, medum sized off-white head. Aroma is a bit faint. Taste malts, hops, some hop and malt bitter. Well, a decent IPA but it doesn’t impress me. Solid though.

Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, citrus and pine. Taste is juicy fruity, fresh floral hoppy, grassy and citrusy with some pine and resin. Finish is fresh hoppy and citrusy with some floral notes. Good.

Medium, rather dense cream head over amberish orange-golden beer; well-carbonated. Very cheesy hops - sharp like blue chees or even goats’ cheese. Bit of lunaria and passion fruit. Bitter, dry hops, like tasting hopcones straight in the mouth; bit of straw, and all the time in the background again blue cheese. Lots of oils, but not really viscous, nor full-bodied. Classical example of overkill. Never experienced such outspoken blue cheese aromas before. Txs to Aga!

At a tasting, smallish head, hazy and a little deepish Orange color, spices aroma with orange marmalade and some herbal notes, flavor of grapefruit herbs and some tea with a malty backbone. A little past its prime, but still good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks tomer. Hazy golden. Aroma of diacetyl and skunky hops. Sweetish flavor with butter, malt, and a skunky hops bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear deep amber color with medium soapy off-white head, nice lacing and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruits like mango and passion fruit. Taste starts resinous with moderate sweet caramel, following is refreshing fruity, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. A bit under carbonated IPA, might be slightly oxidized, but still very good...
