Corked bottle. Dutch beer #2500 Pinkish golden color. Raspberry, lemon and bretty notes in the aroma. Hints of oak. Bone dry yet fruity flavor. Raspberry and lemon. Bretty. A moderate sourness. Low on carbon. Earthy notes. Seriously good beer.

THANKS for sharing RB people! Sampled bottled @ outside De Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Hazy golden / blond, bummer, white head. Oddly carries some sweetness in the way of sugar, white bread, faint candy leading into oud bruin glue notes, raspberry is lower than expected, oddly some caramel. Decent, not as fruity or classical tart as I had hoped for, still not bad.

Sampled from bottle in front of ’De Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of raspberries, strawberries, vinegar and some oak. Sweet-sourish, slightly fruity taste of caramel, raspberries, strawberries, vinegar and oak, followed by a medium long, rather tart and dry finish. Medium body, very astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

At Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces. Loosely structured, snow white, thin head over a misty amberish blonde beer. Aroma of lots of yellow raspberry, gooseberry, plum, sour cream, dry sherry, redcurrant, sourdough. Rich raspberry tartness in the onset paired with again gooseberry- and redcurrant-like esters, lemon rind touch but in all fairly softly sourish, with a sedate lactic sour cream-like sourness throughout, drying but still juicy; drying, earthy finish. Lacks the depth of actual lambic but other than that, this is among the most impressive attempts at a fruit sour I had from the Netherlands so far.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez moyen, brett se resent bien accompagné de fines effluves de framboises et retro terreux. Retrouve peu en terme de foudre, et de plus pq aller mettre du brett dans du foudre? Palais est un peu aigrelet, citrique, léger malté avec un profil terreux de framboises où le brett demeure bien en vue.
