Bottle. Color: Almost black, thin beige head. Taste: Pretty strange combination of roasted malt and wild yeast acidic sourness. Above average carbonation, just below medium body. Nice try, but in my opinion this beer just isnβt exciting and balanced enough and a bit over-carbonated to be a top beer.

33cl bottle from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A dark brown beer with a mid-sized to small tan head. Mild sweet roasted malt and lactose in the aroma. Taste of mild roasted sweet malt, chocolate, lactose, brett, nice!

33 cl bottle @ home. Dark brown color. Light brown head. Aromaβs: funky, sourish, chocolate. Retronasal itβs light sour, funky, light roast. Flavor is sourish, light roasty, hint of bitter chocolate. Light bodied. Finishes with some roast, sour fruit and light bitterness. Just not my thing.

Bottle. Black pour, lively brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and some caramel. Taste has some caramelised malt, coffee, mild tart and red fruit. Lots of co2. Liked the old recipe better, this is a bit boring.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Sep 2016) Black colour with brief, foamy head. Malty, roasted, yeasty nose with coffee, spicy yeast, citrus and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, blueberries, dark bread, citrus and a finish with a mild bitterness and a fresh bretty acidity. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fairly well balanced considering itβs a fairly weird beer. Nice one.
