Opaque black - brown beer, massive pale tan head. Palate is airy, dry and a little soft. Soft dark malts with a touch of dark malt cream. Modest coffee. Mellow red wine vibe that starts to get tangy. Light finish. Tidy if unspectacular.

F: average brownish, diminish to thin lasting film with some bubbles. C: dark as a night, totally non-transparent even against the light. A: dark malt, hint of vinous, cherries sourness, some coffee, chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, syrupy. T: quite vinous sourness at the beginning, earthiness from hops, dusty, cherries like syrupy, chocolate, liquorice, medium to full body, lower carbonated, I agree that it lack lack complexity and the sourness at the beginning is harsh for me, not very good IS, 0,33l bottle from beer festival in February 2016 in Brugge.

Thank you Kraddel. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Bierfestival Brugge 2016. Black with a small mocha head. Nose is moldy sourish mocha, licorice, herbal, dough, bread, boozy, simple. Taste is sour wine licorice, boozy herbal cheap chocolate, syrup, boozy licorice, rather empty taste, vinous & licorice notes and some oozy affairs largely, dash herbs. Empty syrupy vinous body & sugar. Lacks complexity as expected a bit after the regular & Bourbon BA version this is my least favorite variation of this beer.
