Good off-white head, stable, over clear reddish-shot golden beer. Toasted grains, cornflakes and non-USA(!?)hops. Whiff of iodine, estery. Bitterish-dry flavour, there's hops but again in a very unusual way for J-J. Toasted grains, wholemeal bread, even a bit of oxydized grains. Warming up, it becomes a tad (too) sweet. Quite slick, medium bodied. Hiding its ABV. Strange, unusual (in many ways) tripel, certainly for J-J. What remains typical is the balanced, almost flawless execution.

I always look for Summer L. 's review to make sure I'm checking the right one in for this club (thanks!), helped out this time a lot 😁. Smells like Belgian beer that was left out near a warm river. Tastes like it too. Lots of copper and farmy pepper.

Some citrus and florals. Easy going like the Dude. Pours golden with big pillow of lacing. Light tang in finish but pretty clean. Tap at Sovereign.
