Big offwhite fine-laced lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Nutty butterscotch aroma with grassy notes. Dry-sweet butterscotch taste with papery, ripe fruit notes. Slick mouthfeel. Mid- to thin-bodied. Dry chalky fruity aftertaste with grassy cardboard notes. Awful chalky rotten fruit aftertaste lingers, spoiling what’s otherwise a decent, but not terribly enjoyable beer. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

33 cL bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours golden yellow with a lacing white head. Grainy and hay aroma, dry. Flavour is the same. Has a slight prickling mouthfeel. Ends dry with a slight floral and grainy note.

A yellow beer with a very fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of brewing cereal, straw, and grain. The flavor is sweet malty, but also with notes of brewing cereal and straw, leading to a bitter strawy end, that also has a slight note of metal.

Bottled. Clear, pale golden, with a small white head. Grainy and malty aroma and flavor, with some bitterness. Medium to thin body with some fruity bitterness in the finish. The beer was brewed to celebrate the 150 years anniversary of the brewery. With all that experience, they should do better than this. Rating: 3-2-3-3-7-1.8. (060825)

Bottle. It’s a clear, slightly pale golden beer with a small white to off-white head. Some fruit to follow the sweet maltyness in the aroma. Quite weak. Some wet cardboard notes in the flavor, in addition to the fruit notes and malts found in the aroma. Short wet cardboard-like finish. Medium to thin body, quite dry. Far from impressing, especially considering it being a celebration beer. (090327)

Bottled. Pale golden colour, mediumsized white head, which vanishes fast. Aroma is hops, malts and a bit metallic. Flavour is salty, malty and has a grassyish finish. Slight acidic hints also. Crappy and unbalanced, especially in finish and aftertaste.

Bottled. (BB 02/2007). Golden color, small white head. Grainy, a bit papery aroma. Harsh, alcoholic, dry and grainy. Unbalanced, not very enjoyable. Strange choice for jubileum beer.
